Doing a weekly job editing music for MSG Network campaign, creating a series of :30, :15 and :10 second edits for spots for “Friday Night Knicks”.

I just wrapped the underscore for the Dora the Explorer episode “School Science Fair”. That will be the fiftieth episode of Dora and her cousin Diego that I’ve had the pleasure of writing the background music for. Not bad! As usual, I brought in Frank Fontaine to handle winds, John Walsh on trumpet and Manny Moreira on guitars, recording at Smash Audio in midtown.

Seventh season episodes of “Dora the Explorer” will kick off with a new arrangement of her famous theme song, courtesy of yours truly. Asked to try to push into more of an “alt-rock” direction, I created an arrangement featuring ringing guitars and stacked vocals. I was flown down to Miami to work with the Jollipop team to track and produce the final version.
